World Map: update

I'm working on creating the map, I just need to find the time to finish the general outlines and then I'll colorize and embellish it in adobe illustrator. Once all that is finished I'll move on to enlarging and detailing the main areas.

So I decided to just create the whole map in Gimp. I was deeply inspired to make a kind of pixel game version of the map after playing Undertale (it’s a fantastic game I must say   ). Anyway here is what I have so far, I’ve been on and off working on this because of school but I felt like sharing my progress

Note: this still has quite a bit of work left and is still very rough.

Update: I have decided to focus on the immediate area first and then work on the surrounding areas at a later date. Since I decided that I am now much closer to finishing it, I just have a few spots that need fine tuning and then I'll make the important areas slightly more detailed.
