Making Progress

Sometimes Beth would stay with her and teach her more of the alphabet. It helped Ember decompress and she enjoyed learning. Caterina would do some of the hunting for the group and she was left in charge of skinning and prepping the food. Andromeda would help with tanning the hide so they could use the leather for clothes and such.
After about a month of hard work everyone watched as Caterina put the final touches on house.

We have been working on this place non-stop over the past month and, believe me, it has been a LONG month. It wouldn't have taken quite as long if we didn't have to accommodate, well, a dragon. Needless to say, Ember has become sort of our ‘group leader’ for now. Definitely better than the wolf…. Speaking of Ember, she helped me build a small forge and I must say, it has been really nice to be back working in a forge. Admittedly, its not quite as nice as my one back home but it’ll do for now. I took a step back to take a look at our handy work. “So, now that this is finished what should we work on now??” I asked Ember. After all, we still have a lot to do.
